ZSL London Zoo

ZSL London Zoo

As a family we have visited quite a few Zoos and Safari parks but our most favourite has to be ZSL London Zoo. Our ticket price per person was £26.00 as we chose the adult super saver. Under threes go free which was a plus point for us!

Here is a bit of History for you all, did you know that the ZSL London Zoo is the oldest scientific Zoo in the world? Yes it is indeed. Opened on the 27th April 1828 originally to be used as a collection for a range of scientific study. Later opening to the public in 1847. There are around 19035 animals to see at this amazing Zoo. The aquarium is huge and so many sea creatures to see it was one of Shayan’s favourite areas in the Zoo.

They also have a huge range of eating areas to dine. We chose to eat at the terrace restaurant. High chairs were very easy to access and seating was available very easily. During our visit we explored A little area called Gir national park which is a replicant of Gir Forrest in India. This area was beautiful actually felt like we where in India. The little shops and temples were just so amazing to explore. Overall we would defiantly visit this place again!
